Better than even Giles Coren review! For two people whose last choice would be pizza this place really is the business. Went back twice in two days. Excellent choice of local beers and one guest, friendly staff. The marmite base pizza is a must and great to see the use of Welsh cheeses .

Grain - What a find! We discovered this gem a few years back when visiting again after a couple of years away from Pembrokeshire. And what a collaboration! As a lover of craft ale (see my other reviews) and equally having allergies to whey, Grain has more than catered for myself and my partner! We've had countless meals here now over the last two years, and sampled many an ale from Bluestone, the most phenomenal West Coast Collaboration in the local area. Every time we're back in the area, we're sure to visit. From the delectable pizzas, to the glowing service and excellent craft ales on tap. I can't recommend a place highly enough. Plus, if you love the European cabin experience, the outdoor and indoor seating areas really foster that atmosphere, especially in the warmer weather. Ever in anticipation of our return!!

Grain, St Davids – A Hidden Gem for Pizza Lovers What a great find! Grain in St Davids is a fantastic restaurant, though we did drive past it twice as it’s a little hidden in the dark—so keep an eye out! Once inside, we were warmly greeted by the team and quickly seated. Service was efficient and friendly, striking the perfect balance between being attentive without making us feel rushed. Now, onto the food—absolutely outstanding. My partner, who spent a long time in Italy, said this was the best pizza she’s had outside of Italy, which is high praise! The flavors, quality of ingredients, and authentic preparation truly set it apart. We originally found Grain on Google Maps, and we’re so glad we did. We’re highly recommending it to anyone visiting St Davids and would give it all the stars possible! We visited on the 11/02

If you love pizza as much as I do (which is A LOT), you need to get yourself to Grain in St Davids! Honestly, hands down some of the best pizza I’ve ever had—fresh, full of flavour, and just the right mix of crispy and chewy. You can tell they really care about their ingredients, and the specials board always has something exciting on it! We rocked up as a group of 20 and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming—super friendly, accommodating, and just lovely people all around. The setting is gorgeous too, tucked away in a cute little courtyard right in the heart of the UK’s smallest city. Whether you’re after a chilled meal, craft beers with mates, or even a dog-friendly spot (yes, bring your pup! ), this place has it all. Atmosphere - really lovely. Pizza was excellent! Staff were really friendly and polite. Couple of things I didn’t like so much - I tried calling a few times to book, no answer, and there was no space when we arrived so we waited. So - definitely book ahead!! The food also took a long while to arrive. And I’m really not a fan of the fact that the sauces were served in disposable plastic pots, the salad came in a paper bowl and there was wooden cutlery. I’d much rather they were using re-usable ramekins, bowls and cutlery and not disposable options. Other than that - I’ll definitely be coming again!

We had a great experience at Grain tonight. Catered for my Dairy free child who is very fussy but even he loved it. staff were all lovely and our Dogs were welcomed inside too. Definitely going back. 4th Visit and the Pizza just wasn't as good, very sloppy as if it hadn't been cooked long enough but tasted lovely and staff really well organised.

Wow... I think it's the best pizza I've ever had! I have to be honest my mushroom pizza had double cheese in it but what experience it was! Oozing with cheese and flavours of wild mushroom. It was heaven. I think they fried the mushrooms before in butter (I might be wrong), because they were full of taste on their own. The chicken pizza was also delicious- at least that's what my husband said. But when you are there try the olives for a starter. They are huge and full of spicy flavour. And the dough balls were hot from the oven served with a homemade garlic butter. What's not to like! Service amazing! Atmosphere great. I would really recommend it. If I had to give a constructive feedback on anything, I wouldn't use plastic for the butter or the dough balls. But that's it really. A small detail.

Dropped in as looking for somewhere to eat. Open so had a drink first, food started 5.30, quirky and cool place. Nice music, good vibe and very well relaxing place. Pizza’s were the best we have eaten, they were fab, 10/10. The Bluestone beers on tap were nice, as was the local cider. Well worth a visit!
